San Leo Festival is an important cultural event, now in its 8th edition, with a July full of concerts and educational activities.

Music, concerts and in-depth studies, master classes, as well as the National Campus of Music High Schools, which has established itself as the main initiative in Italy aimed at young musicians, singers and actors from 13 to 20 years of age. The programme is diverse and includes lectures, classical, jazz and folk music.

This is the complete programme:

10 July: Quartocolore 'Journey'. The meeting of Francesco Furlanich (accordion), Gabriele Savarese (guitar and violin) and Pietro Horvath (cello and double bass) leads to the formation of Quartocolore and their first album Viaggio (2020).

12 July: Harmonia Ensemble will perform the sound and image concert 'Storie di strade'.

13 July: The Luciano Zadro Quartet proposes an exceptional show in which the great tradition of jazz, funk, and Latin music are blended with a musical repertoire of important composers (Chick Corea, George Benson, Pat Metheny).

15 July: The evening will open with the ceremony conferring the Chiavi della Città di San Leo (Keys to the City of San Leo) on Maestro Riccardo Muti. This will be followed at 9 p.m. by a performance of Gioachino Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle, conducted by Nicola Paszkowski.

16 July at 22:00: a wonderful tribute to Ennio Morricone with Orchestra and actors from the National Campus Licei Musicali, conductor: Marco Papeschi. Free entrance in Piazza Dante Alighieri.

18 July: Four renowned international musicians and soloists with diverse backgrounds (classical, jazz, hip hop) combine their experiences and styles for a special show.

19 July: "Me and Frank Zappa" Napoleon M. Brock Feat. Inventionis Mater.

22 July: 7 p.m.: "Dirigierkurs für Chorleiter" at St. Leo Cathedral. The course for part-time choir conductors in the field of sacred music organised by the Archdiocese of Cologne will be available free of charge.

9.30 p.m.: "Lyrical gala: the most beautiful arias from Italian opera" with the participants of the master class held by Luciana Serra.

23 July: Piano solo with Alessandro Lanzoni.
